C230 Sport Coup + 2006 W164 ML350 + 99 Ford Escort (What the heck, it gets 38 mpg!)
Long Beach Gran Prix

Anyone planning to attend?
Got a couch or a place I could blow up an air mattress?

I see they're doing a Le Man style race too on Sat.
but for only 2 hours.
I'm assuming that means we get to see the GT style racer teams there as well as Indy?
Oh....that would be sweet.

Been years since I have been out there. I'll miss this one too. I have Pitter that weekend.

Its always fun watching the Saturday action. Celebrity crack up race is the best.

Good luck out there.

I like the scenery.
Beautiful women everywhere.
Opposite of NASCAR.

The only thing that sucks, is that Tecate is the sponsor, and they hawk their exclusive swill for $8 a cup, but it's probably $10 now, and they're having a Miss Tecate Light at Legends, which for sure means they'll be selling light beer.
Sadly.
I always end up walking all the way out just to get a cocktail at is it Rock Bottom?
Maybe there's a way around it?
Some way to have decent alcohol at Long Beach?
Maybe there's some ethanol in the pits?

Well, sadly I won't be going.
Expendable income is Zero.
Don't have an extra grand of fun money laying around for food, gas, lodging, and tix.
Really, would protectionism be so bad, stop buying all this crap from China, ,
bring back American industry, and jobs that pay something?
Or am I crazy?!!?!??!??!
Don't answer that.

One year I was there they had Jessie from Monster Garage...what happened to that guy?
I loved the way they'd build these crazy projects, like a 302 Mustang lawn mower.
And then blow up the ones that didn't work.

You buy alcohol there? I pack in a flask. Much cheaper.
