6000k's... Yellow is old and too blue is not benz.
Don't sand just replace the part your better off.

I'm not looking to replace the headlight housing. I have a lot of other projects to do before spending money on that part. I'm the only one that even realizes it.

There is a very good thread by Cintoman on cleaning up the lenses to as new & then coating them with an anti ox/UV blocker to keep them that way.
