Getting the rear window replaced to 'fix' antenna.
Some of you may remember a thread I started a while ago asking what to do about FM radio band crackling when I use my rear de-mister. Mercedes quoted over $2000 (Australian) to replace the entire windscreen.
Well I got an email from the non-Mercedes dealer who sold me the car. The after-market warranty company is going to pay for it
(I was surprised too, looks like it was well worth getting the warranty product, cost me less than $2000 for 3 years, almost cost price, dad knows the now retired owner of the dealership).
Anyways, Mercedes-Benz wont be doing the work, but this dealer is an Authorized dealer for Jaguar/Rover all the way up to Ferrari. So their mechanics are trained well. Is there anything I should look out for when they do the work? Or ask them to do?
