Ouch! That is not a fun one, but I'm glad you're OK. The last time I was in a wreck I started looking for new cars that night, and that kids is how I entered the world of Mercedes...

I feel as though Mercedes has been my curse 
I would love to be able to hop into an 08 335 sedan.... Or a 08 C350. Even an 06 330i.
I want something durable and worry free for the most part. Ill keep you guys updated.

Biggest mistake of my life was not going to the hospital right after my accident by ambulance and waiting a few hours. Then not going back to another DR when I got home for a follow up since I had issues for almost a year and did have to miss work some days because of the accident so I should have been given some compensation (BTW I never miss work and never even told my family/Friends mom I was still having pain yes I was stupid). The problem was is that I was young lol 19 and felt bad since it was my best friends mom that was driving and felt it would be a bad thing to fight with her insurance company I figured it could negatively effect her which I don't think it would.

BTW I am not one that likes the idea of the sue happy America and feel the need to work very hard for everything I own but since I was having to take days off I would have been happy with heck a weeks pay or so on top of my medical bills which was the biggest fiasco every (DAM USAA).

I am definitely going for a follow up with a Dr. this week. I also contacted a lawyer so I know I do things the right way.
I'm only 22 and I dont know exactly how this works but the advice everyone is telling me is to get a lawyer.

It actually works very simple....You were in The emergency room. You go to the doctor X amount of times... the chiropractor Y amount of times... The phys therapist Z amount of times. The more amount of x,y and z... the more your settlement will be, if in fact you did get hurt and you go see x,y, and z for legitimate reasons of course. Majority of your settlement will have to do with reimbursement for the copay you spent at these doctors offices. This usually takes about a year or so for the settlement so make sure you see your doc frequently and consistently over the time span.

You don't need a lawyer yet. Hell, all he'll do it is take some of that money AWAY from you. See what they offer you, and if you're not impressed, then tell them that it's not acceptable. See what they come back with, because they ALWAYS have a price that they will offer you, and then a price that they have been ALLOWED to max out at.
If the MAX they come back with still isnt enough, THEN you threaten to pony up with a lawyer, and see what they come back with.
If thats STILL not acceptable - THEN you get a lawyer.

Glad you are OK. Sheet metal is replaceable. Insurance is just a dice roll on how things go, some are great to deal with, some a real pain, and often that same variation within the same company. Just hope you have an easy go of it.

Glad to hear your doing better, and also great to hear your Getting more then what you paid for the car. Now you can buy a new c230 and mod it out, or buy a c55 or a ton of different options!

wow that was fast congrats on the C55! nice step up, and a truly amazing car. Good deal too! I have not ever seen a C55 for under 20k yet plus pretty low miles! What color is it?
