Farewell my W203.....
Today, I have officially parted with my W203. She was really good to me the past 4 yrs. Thank you to all MBWORLD members for guidance, advice, and all my upgrades.
I picked up a new ride that i couldn't resist, as this was what i have always wanted, just waiting for the right one, right color, and everything else.
I have officially traded in my car, with no money down, no negative equity, so it worked out well for me for a 2007 mini cooper s. 48tmiles only. Fully loaded john cooper works package. The previous owner of this spent a fortune on upgrades. From exhaust, to LEDS, and Comes with fully adjustable H&R coils too. A clean car fax, etc...
I just wanted to share this with my fellow members even with crappy pics since i am so happy with it.
Plan to do a few things with it...first off ditching the from license plate..
Here they are:

dam I wish you would have let us know before you did a trade in, I would have gotten a few things off you car and done some trades for stock parts with you plus cash. Man this sucks that your leaving though, your car has been a huge inspiration. Good luck, the new car looks nice. Hope you stop by on the forms every now and then and check out whats good and all

Not exactly the direction I'd want to go. But it's about owning what makes you feel good, and for you to be able to find that....CONGRATS! Enjoy it.

i think its a pretty nice car, I hate mini coopers normally but that one is one I would actually drive, I think it looks nice. Plus you've got to consider his old car was 2 years older and 2 times as many miles. Congrats on the new car hcalvarez, I just hate to see such a nice pewter w203 leave. I hope who ever ends up buying your car from the trade in really appreciates all the mods you did.

Thanks for the comments broos. it was kind of unexpected thats why i wasnt able to part out anything. saw the car friday morning online, test drove it in the afternoon, and i was sold. its now with peterpan bmw if they post it, but the manager seemed to like it a lot, not sure if hell be the one owning it.
i consider it more of an upgrade for me getting an newer year, less miles, and some turbo action going on for a small euro. Its a fun car for my daily driver.
if anyone wants oem rear rotors, make me an offer. its about two years old. but still on good condition. ill post it in classifieds soon.
been wanting a mini for a while, but i had some conditions that i was waiting for like the jcw aero kit and package. i feel lucky finding this and the previous owner took care of it really well, through car fax report. and im just the second owner too.

Of course it's that way to be reminiscent of the original Mini Cooper. It's one of the things you either love or hate. I'm not which way you'd feel if you were a fan of the original. ![nix](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/nixweiss.gif)
Somebody noted that one of the problems a car company has with retro cars is that they are pretty restrained in what they can do with the styling. If they change it too much, it would loose its relationship to the original. Same problem VW has with the Beetle.
When I bought my '05 C230, I was considering a Mini. Although I have a few issues with my car, I prefer the styling of it to the Mini. There's no doubt that a Mini is a lot of fun! I hope Hector enjoys it! I don't think there's much chance that he won't!

From experience I can tell you unless you have a fat wallet and don't mind going to the dealer you are going to have a nice time finding some replacement parts for it if they are needed in a hurry. Lots of selection online but there's not much stocked around in stores here.
I bought one for my Nephew about a year ago and it has been nothing but a pain in my *** ever since, out of the 4 of us he's the only one that can stand to drive it. Stay away from empi parts and armadillos, not in that order. surprisgnly and armadillo will do lots and lots of damage at 35 miles and hour.

Ey Peydidy, not really, but they gave me 1k higher than my trade in value for it. So negative equity didn't exist for me. so its pretty much just a swap, and my monthly payments now are lower.

We got our 05s close to the same time in 2008.. sad to see you go.
But life's too short to drive the same car forever. If you can swing it, drive what you love!

Mini? Meh... But as long as you are happy, that's all that matters.
I've driven turbodiesel rental Minis in Europe a few times and while peppy for a diesel, agile and all that, I haven't developed any kind of liking to them.
Congrats on the purchase.

nice upgrade!
i agree with the center console, but i would sacrifice it for the increase in driveability...
looks like the previous owner did a clean job with it.
hope it treats you well
