A casual look at my bank statement today had me gasping in horror 174 bucks and change for Sirius? WTF!! Anyway, I forgot they charge me for this every year I call them (as I always do) to tell them to cancel. The rep tells me she'll slice it in half and refund 88 bucks to my account. Same ole rodeo I go to every yearJust an FYI for anyone that doesn't want to pay full price for this service.

It was even easier when Sirius and XM were competitors. I've been w/XM since 2003 and have done the same thing almost every year.

Now that they have sort of merged it has become a bit more involved, but still works pretty much every time now that they are bleeding customers after the merger.

Having three XM subscriptions and one Sirius does help quite a bit.

Interesting, I may have to try that myself.

But judging from the fun I just had with the egits I may just drop alll four accounts. They just activated a fifth radio on my account for a car that we sold four years ago. Nice security there.

I hear that you can get 5 months for $20 if you whine enough. The trick is don't let them use your card to auto renew. Send them a check.

Damn, wish I knew about this before. Well I might try it next year and cancel them taking it out of my acct.

I heard about plenty of bungles on their part. A friend of mine is going thru the hassle of getting them to refund an overdraft on his acct. I guess you have to be persistent and just be prepared to drop them if necessary. I am prepared to drop them at a moments notice. I guess that's why I get what I can out of them
