Alright guys,
Right i got a c220 not that long ago, noticed that there was a cd changer in glove box but when i tried to fucntion it it wouldnt work or anything,
Then i wanted to take it out so i read this forum (which is seriously handy)
I got it out today, but there was no leads or anything connected to it
Any ideas?
Cheers in advance

My idea is that you probably need some wiring going to the head unit from the cd player to have it work.
I'm guessing the prior owner either gutted it to f*ck with you, or it didn't work for them, so they disconnected it to either try to fix it (unsuccessfully) or just so it wasn't communicating with the head unit.
First step would be to make sure that the cd changer works by swapping someone's working cd player for yours if possible, then get wiring from a dealer or online, and connect everything back up.
Or swap out the head unit for one with a cd player instead. They should be very cheap now.

If you end up needing it, I have a face lifted radio and CD changer available. I installed an aftermarket double din nav last week, and have no need for them anymore. You can have them for real cheap if you end up needed a new one.

No, Mercedes still had cassette decks, and now you want wireless cd changers? You're lucky it wasn't an 8-track.
It might even be worth it to contact the seller; maybe they still have the wiring, and give it to you. Or even be honest enough to tell you why they removed the wiring - at least knowing that your cd changer doesn't work would be better than buying the necessary wiring and hoping it still works.
