how do i check for slop in rack?
im having my entire tie rods on both sides done tomarrow
can someone tell me how to check for slop in the rack?
i've looked everywhere cant find nothing about the rack

The way to check is to have someone under the car listening to where the knock is coming from as you turn the wheels. Otherwise its impossible to determine whether its an inner tie rod or the rack itself.
If you're having a shop do the work, then have them check.
