I like the newer 2005-2007 front grill as it has less bars in the middle and just looks nicer.

before i go and order one......will it fit my 2002 C32?

Looking at pics on ebay it looks slightly different shape?

As far as I know, any W203 grille with the exception of an AMG for some reason should work on another W203... But hopefully someone else here will know decisively more.

If it does fit, you can try eBay... The grills are cheaper quality but about a third of what a dealer would cost. I ordered a sport grille with the large center star to replace the OEM grille and after a little hot glue to secure the star better than it was initially, I've been running it for a year and a half. I must also say the glossy black finish behind the chrome front turned to a satin finish but it looks like it was made that way and it looks good. You're looking at <$100 instead of $300 or better from the dealer and I'm not sure you can even get one from them for a W203 with the star if that's what you want. At any rate I know it wasn't offered in 2004 per the VIN of my car and I don't think either in 2005... Anyone know if it was offered in 2006 or 2007?

The 2005-2007 grilles will fit your 2002 C32 fine. The only change to the W203's was with the C55, which has the front clip off the CLK body. The C55's grille, when you open the hood, does not raise with the hood. Only the top chrome trim goes up with the hood.

So you should be fine with the newer style grille on your C32.

As said, only the C55 has a different grill fitment. I've fitted a facelift 3 bar grill to my 2002 C180K, think it looks that bit cleaner and sharper
