Just Fitted DEPO XENON PROJECTORS...One Doesnt Work HELP!
AAARGH!
Just replaced my frosty xenons with nice shiney new Depo's
BUT....
Drivers side dip beam (hid bulb) doesnt work!
passengers side works perfectly.
ive refitted the old frosty one and it all works perfect.
so i swapped the xenon balast to the new depo and fitted a new d2s bulb to it aswell but it doesnt work on dip!!
ive tried every combination i can think off ie fitted new bulbs/old bulbs/old balast which work in every combination in my old headlamp perfectly.
so this rules out any other fault like a fuse etc.
ive had a good look at the connectors on the new depo and they look good.
HELP!
Is my new depo faulty?

I drive a Toyota Hybrid...
what you mean by it doesn't work? the light doesn't light up? the light turns off when you start the engine you mean? maybe you need to set Xenon to Present at the dealer?

so your saying the self level does not work? I would check each connection on the headlight that has the extra connectors. I would try to exchange them once you have tested that.

Dip Beam = Low beam bulb. It's actually called dipped beam I believe but I don't know why the Germans can't just say freaking low beam cause my VW has the same thing.
Are the ballasts from the Xenon the same as what the depo set uses? If you swapped the bulb and the ballast then it has to be something in the wiring on the assembly itself.

Yeah sorry for the confusion...
here in the UK dip beam =low beam.
I've come to the conclusion that its got to be a fault with the new depo headlamp wiring as everything works on the old original lamp but not the new depo.....
the new depo lamp on the passengers side was a direct swap just plug in and go - perfect!
pic of passengers side depo working perfect...but drivers side not!

pic of the original connected back up with the same ballast and bulb from the new depo!

so its got to be the new depo headlamp that is at fault.
I've ordered another new depo which i will get on monday so hopefully that will cure it

Buddy I know your issue, I had the same issue the connector plug is not touching the connector pins in the housing socket, I had to shave down the plastic around the connector pins (socket) so the plug could fit deep in the socket, after that it worked perfect.
