If your talking about a facelifted one then yes there is a way if your willing to spend a cool amount of money. There are a few places were you can buy custom Carbon fiber ones but there a bit pricey. Also you could just CF wrap it which should only cost you $20 and a few hours of time. Another option which is my favorite is go with the birds eye wood which looks really nice, a few forum members have gone that rout. Also of course you could get that silver one that the facelifted sport models have too. All of these options would be a straight fit and not requite much adjusting or changing of anything

What are you looking for? I have the aluminum and I'd like to convert to the burl wood (laurel). Of course it would be difficult to make a switch between us if you're interested!

Cheapest way is definitely wrapping your pieces. cheap and very easy to do with a heat gun. $20 for vinyl on ebay..from carbon fiber to wood and even exotic colors. only about an hr of labor.

Ebay is a great place to buy the Vinyl, Unless you have a Vinyl shop near you that stocks this stuff.

I was able to wrap all of my aluminum pieces by using a 48"x 48" piece.

Do you guys have any tips for removing those trim pieces to wrap them? I know how to remove the trim around the gear shift, but after that I am at a loss. Do the door trims pop right off?

Are you talking about the trim pieces around the window switches? If so, no - you have to remove the panels and get to small torx screws from the inside. And be careful - the tunnels in the panels where the screws go are very brittle - look at them funny, and they break. And they're very expensive to replace as well.

No I am talking about the long pieces that run along the length of the door on the inside. they are right below the sill.

I dont see why that wouldnt work. It would definitely be a pain in the *****, but I guess it would work. I could just cut a piece of vinyl for those sill pieces. Does anyone know how to pull out the the piece that pops up to reveal the cigarette lighter and pop off the trim pieces surrounding the AC controls?

MB’s of all kinds.
If you have the funds do real carbon fiber. It is honestly well worth it. No use putting in the cheap ugly aluminum trim in. Just my $.02 cents.

Real carbon fiber would be really nice if I was rich.. I'm sure a lot of people don't want to break their wallets for minor cosmetic changes that vinyl can substitute for. If they even wanted, they could clear coat the vinyl to make it appear even more realistic. (Not saying I'd go that far) I'm happy with vinyl as it doesn't look cheap and looks pretty factory.
