C230 Sport Coup + 2006 W164 ML350 + 99 Ford Escort (What the heck, it gets 38 mpg!)
I can tell you NOT to mount it on the ESP module.
Stupid me, thats where I mounted mine and the general consensus was 'that's a bad idea'.
I got so many errors, I pulled the kit.
Of course now I have Bix.

Mine are close to where Peydidy's are, right behind the headlight housings, secured the mounting brackets with the bolts already there and some zip ties to be safe, but yes do keep them away from that ESP box.

Underneath the headlight assembly, there is a good bit of gap and great air flow.
