So, first I tried looking across many threads and could not find much Of anything too specific to my problem. I have a 2004 C230 SS that had been idling a little rough and even shut down on me at a stop light less than a month ago. Did some research and replaced the CPS (located on the back of the engine) and everything seemed fine. Well a week after, I would start up the car and it would bogg (shake) till it felt like it would die. I would then rev the engine a little above 2000 rpm for 10-20 sec and it would go away. Then about two weeks later the check engine light came on (still bogging down BTW). So I took it to run diagnostic and an O2 sensor error came up. However, I am skeptical as to this is what it could be. Feels like loosing power or having a harder time accelerating as well. Any advice?

Update: So, after over a month and a half at MB service there has yet to be a solution to my specific problem. The issue has been ticketed to MBUSA and now more recently to MB Germany. Intrestingly enough, no one, including my self, can quite identify the problem. In case anyone out there is having the same problem this is what has been done so far:
-CPS (Crankshaft Position Sensor)
-Up Stream and Down Stream O2 sensors
-Entire new wiring harness throughout car (complements of MB)
-New Computer Control Module (complements of MB)
-New Software for CCM (complements of MB)
-some recall parts that had to do with oil in the wiring system (complements of MB)
Now, I do have to say MB, at least MB of Austin, treats their customers well. I have not had to pay on any of the parts they have thrown at my car. For this I am grateful and will most likely remain a MB customer. However, The problem has still not been fixed.
I talked to the shop foreman over there and tried to get him to entertain the idea that maybe one of the cylinder heads is bad, but he is not on board just yet with that thought. I was wondering if anyone out there my have a caveat of information that may help. All feed back is good feedback, I will entertain all suggestions at this point.
