Weird ac function
Hi guys Im Pretty new to Mercedes, I just got my 2005 c230 last month. I love the car. But weird thing sometimes my ac will still be blowing even thou lights are off and dial at 0. I have to turn disk to 6 then back to 0 a couple of times before it finally stops blowing. Any ideas.

Mine does this, too. Something about the contacts at the "0" mark wearing out. It will also cause the system to shut completely down if you have it on "AUTO" but the dial at "0". Mine has been this way since 09.
You could replace the unit in the dash, but I see no reason to do that personally. I just make sure the A/C is off when I turn the dial off. And when I run the system in "AUTO" I turn the dial to a random number. Has worked fine for me for three years.
