Are there any on the market? Magnaflow, borla. . . whatever? I want to replace my junk Kleemann high flow on my Kleemann headers but I can't seem to find a suitable replacement. Anyone please chime in!

Magnaflow doesn't list any on its site. And Borla doesn't even list MB applications.

So unless you go with a universal, you may be stuck with what you got. What's wrong with the Kleemann? I'm sure it wasn't cheap.

The insulation in the cat is all effed up so its pretty much pointless. I may as well just take that out and straight pipe it.

Maybe you could do a M111 retrofit. Much fewer issues.

If the cat is breaking down then get rid of it immediately. The design of the M271 with the cat so close to the engine it is very likely to suck broken material back in if the cat is breaking up (hit it, if it rattles its time to go).

Nissan Sentras were notorious for this, grenading engines.

Cannot run without a cat on the M271. Jose aka Mig888 tried, couldn't ever get it right even with an O2 sensor spacer and sim.

Im running stock headers at the moment. Im looking to get the Kleemann cat replaced. Did it affect his performance or was it just throwing a CEL?

CEL mostly, yet it does affect performance a bit as the O2 sensors are part of the feedback loop.

You could weld the stock cat into the Kleemann header.

The "not for use in California" doesn't worry you? Or do you have an out on the inspection?

Nah, I just swap out to stock when i go for a smog check. I already passed smog recently so I should be good for quite a while.
