Bah on the AMG sways - they're coathangers. Young and I installed our sways together, him the AMGs and me the Eibachs, and the difference was like Ken Jeong vs. Lexington Steele.

Steve used to have the designo center consoles; that's where I got mine from - I wouldn't be suprised if he and Wanda can still get them.

As far as the leather seats, I'd think it would be outrageously expensive here; CST can do a similar treatment for $1500 or so.

Actually about the AMG, I'm struggling to find every bit of pieces of accessories or parts for the CL, maybe an AMG Sport Suspension would be nice

Hyundai Genesis coupe?! that thing I'm sorry, but personally its Hideous! ufcourse for that much of money, thats why i rarely see a thing or two of asian coupes at Indonesia, God! an SLK is even more fond to see here than Hyundai Coupe.

Yes, it's real alcantara; had it wrapped, though. But I do believe that it's not that hard to do. I guess I'll find out, 'cause it's in serious need of being redone - that fuzz does wear down, especially since I've always got my arm on it, since I have a manny.

Thanks for the compliment - I agree! Has your CL been reliable since you bought it? Here in the US, the reliability of these cars is all over the place; I've had a ton of repairs done, while others have gotten by pretty well with almost nothing done to theirs.

The CL and every Mercedes even the SLS is very reliable here, a month ago i saw 10 of those AMG monsters in one day, 10! can you imagine how an SLS becoming a cheap car to own , most people here never even get their hands dirty. But anyway since i bought it from 2010 i have never got a single problem off this car, except for the accecories ufcourse, the CL is good to own and fun to drive especially on track day with the ESP off

 

amg sport suspension? is it eibach or h&r or may be coilover is better? usually amg came much higher than other sport suspension, make it looks like oem

many of my fellow w203 change the brake first, perhaps because amg swaybars are very rare
and because of the rareness, they use Eibach brand for sway bars, instead.

or maybe you have vendor that sells amg swaybars?

 

They use the Eibach swaybars because they're better than the AMG's. Simple as that.

 

Just a little bit of update, Yesterday i have successfully installed the Carbon Shark Fin, and i must say it looked brilliantly placed and looks good too on the CL's Panoramic Sunroof... Simple yet it makes a lot different look to the car.

A rather huge storm and rain have poured across Jakarta, causing it to flood which makes one of the worst day for my Coupe. I was out around 3pm using my CL (i definitely chose the wrong ride to take with) when suddenly in the middle of my journey the huge storm strike... the whole ride is about to become a very serious one. All of the streets were blocked, flooded and even worse... the traffic is badly jammed. I have no choice to go through all of this for the sake of returning home. There are approximately 3 sports cars that i have seen broken down which is an Audi TT, Lexus ISF and an Evo, this makes me worried more wondering if my Coupe would be able to pass this devastating times...or not.

Now, all i can relay on is the Merc Tech that is fitted within the car, i turned to W mode or in the other word Winter/Wet mode which starts the car from 2nd gear preventing slipping and for the tires to grip more on wet/slippery surfaces. with the help of the Michelin Pilot Super Sport Tires it can easily channels the waters away... so then I'm ready to face it.




I pushed on many flooded area, the water could be as tall as the Fog lamp or more higher from the CL's bumper which makes me think i wouldn't last long, in the same time finding where to go. But...Amazingly the Coupe passed the torture! i was confused of how this 2003 Merc would be able to pull it through. However i do have 2 or 3 problems, the car didn't broke down but i lost my left Fog lamp as well as the right Headlight, it malfunctioned and its dead for sure. The buffer underneath the car that was supposed to protect the Fog Lamp instrument were ripped apart, which causes the water to flow inside drowning the Ballast and all of the necessary cables to make the HID Xenon works..












But again, I still can't imagine of how advanced and well built this Coupe could really be, the computer response for a 2003 make is fast and precise, the Wet mode works, the heated mirrors works, the wiper works. Today this machine have showed what it is capable of, and how German Engineering truly put an effort and passion on Mercedes Benz.

 

Wow. Like I said, no one has ever seen a designo coupe. Sorry for your troubles. I think you will sort them out. Those damn covers have a way of getting knocked out, I've replaced a couple.
