p0010 on m271
Would it be possible for a cam to be off one tooth and set the p0010 code? After doing a valve job I am getting this code. Car runs great but sometimes idles rough when under load. I have read this forum for hours before asking, thanks for any help. M271

P0010 - Component Y49/5 (Right camshaft intake solenoid) has an open circuit in the wiring.
P0010 - Continuous camshaft adjustment ( RIGHT ): Incorrect position of the intake camshaft
P0010 - "A" Camshaft Position Actuator Circuit (Bank 1)

So then why don`t you re-position the cam one tooth in the right direction and test your hypothesis,...
BTW, open circuit,.... did you make sure your plugged all the connectors back in properly,.... did you clean them too,...
