Check oil at next gas station!

Just got my oil changed at an indi shop. I keep receiving the alert on my multifunction. Checked the dip stick, it's at the tip of the max but doesnt actually saturate the metal thredded line that attaches to it.

Really anything to worry about or some oil will probably burn off over the course of 1k and it will stop giving me the annoying alert every time I start it?!?!?!?

Runs perfectly fine as before with the exception of my cam magnets being overnighted to me

Thanks everyone

Don't worry about it. As the car consumes a little oil it will go away. Only way to fix it now is to suck a little oil out. Not worth it unless you find it really irritating.

Thank you guru Glyn. Just wanted to make sure since I know how sensitive these cars are. On my way to work this morning my left mirror blinker didn't work for about 5 seconds then all of a sudden works just fine....ugh

MB Blinker oil

I had a check oil level at next gas station message come on virtually simultaneously with my passenger side mirror blinker malfunction and give me a message on my 2006 c230. Both messages disappeared the next day and problems have not resurfaced.

It wouldn't surprise me if MB made it possible to push engine oil through the wiring to the blinkers. I've seen this car push oil through the wiring to my crankshaft position sensor.
