how reiable are w203's?
Do the 05 c230 have supercharger issues? What are some known issues, remember reading the early 01-04 had issues that 05+ got worked out...need something good on gas since my daily driver Lexus is racking up too many miles...
Here were some cars I'm thinking about...
05 c230
06 Lexus is250
04/05 acura tsx
05 scion TC...
The tc I rather not but its cheap but i rather get the top 3 . Out of them the is250 has the options I want and the tsx next with heated seats which I hear is a option with the c classes.
So how are your w230s???

why u need 4 doors, IS backseat is ridiculous small, C class make more sense, i am thinking of getting a 08+ Audi TT as second car
Ya the IS baxckseats are small but I dont take people around so I thik its okay my girl and i...even my 5 series backseats were small....i think 4 doors just to put stuff in and need a car with some room...

time for some 3GS with some VIP modular!!!

if you want subtle luxury which doesn't make too much attention, go for Lexus, they hold up the value and they are extremely comfy and reliable toyota engine, and their famous ice cold AC

i would say Acura but their interior is really cheap leather stiff really fast and their look outdate pretty soon, they don't hold up value like lexus
but still.. Honda are just as good as any Toyota i was thinking of the new TL if i dind't get my GSh, i can't stand how most Acura are still FWD, sure they got power, but eat your front wheels tires too much even on stockie

Any of them will hold up fine I'd think.

Toyota's are indeed boring, bullet proof & extremely reliable. However today some of that is still trading on the brand. They are not as reliable as they used to be.
Some of Toyota's legendary reliability is a thing of the past. Much of the old success was selling simple ruggedly engineered products. As sophistication & complexity has increased their reliability has gone backwards.
They today wish they could claim Honda V Tec reliability as an example. They can't.

Does sound like they gave the wrong torque spec. So it sounds more like a communication problem than a product problem.
Having said that, Toyota and Honda are pretty bad about using thin panels that tend to rust prematurely. That would be my biggest gripe about my CRX, well, after it not automatically growing over time as I have.
