New C320 Owner
We had a clean Carfax and the dealer said that the car was 'immaculately' maintained.
... Well. I think what they meant was everything except the engine.
I pulled the engine cover off today (which was armor-all shiny) and found these air filters underneath.

I'm not sure these have ever been replaced in its 8 years on the road. They look like someone emptied a vacuum cleaner into the intake.
I already scheduled the car for a service at the dealer (they're backlogged), but anything else I should check on/replace immediately?
Thanks!
In 2004 the C-class still came with free factory maintenance for 50k miles so they were probably last changed at 50,000 miles. How many does it have now?
You might want to find a good independent mechanic. You will pay a lot more than necessary at a dealer.

Buy green filters and replace them ( their washable )
Easiest thing in the world to change
Check Fuel Filter
Check Cabin air filter not important
Check your Gaskets
Good luck

135k now.
I've looked for mechanics around here that would work on it (rural Arkansas), and the only place I've found is a guy working from his house with about two dozen 1970-80s Mercedes-Benzes in pieces on his lawn. I'm... a bit leery to go there.

Thanks for the list. I will check them out. The cabin air filter I already pulled as well, and it was caked in dust. Couldn't find one in stock locally, so I may get that at the dealer when I go.
