Depo headlights

I just got some depo lights it arrived. These came fast, in 2 days.

Its not the full HID. It's more of the adaptation of using non-Xeon or more the H7 bulb type. I does look like the OEM style.

This works for me, since I don't have to change the whole set up to D2S and just use back the HID setup I already have. I have the VVME setup. It does have the globe lens. Wiring is for the H7 setup.

The globe looks like there is a metal plate to make the cut off.

The signal light has a big void, I think when this blinker turns on, it will light up the inside housing. Is this how the OEM is?

Other than that, it looks awesome, can't wait to put them on.

Depo is made by TAIWAN? At least this is what it is stamped on the light.

I have the same depos for my coupe (well almost the same other then the sizing) my biggest recommendation would be that if your planning on changing the city lights to LEDs do it before you install the lights. It is very hard on the depos to change the LEDs once installed due to there being barley any space to get your hands in there. Maybe thats just a thing with the coupe headlights, someone correct me if I am wrong please. Other then that they look great! Congrats on the purchase! Post some pics when you get them installed please!

So what is that plug on the top left? What did you do with this? It doesn't look like I have a plug to go into that.

The big white circular thing, what is that?

It is the same plug on your stock head light.

And yes, DEPO is a Taiwanese company.

how do you draw arrows and boxes on pictures like that? It would make it easier to explain that way. Basically on the top right hand of that picture theres a small 1inch or so black circle. You take that out and thats were you can plut in your stock blinker. I didnt fill that spot that you were pointing out with anything, I am not sure if that is required to do or not, if someone could chime in on that I am wondering the same thing now. As for that white circular thing I don't remember seeing anything like that, I will check the coupe later and see

the white circle looks like it deals with the level adjuster, if you follow it upward you'll see a black knob that controls the leveler, its probably just a design. As Frank said, the top left notch is for the harness, if you look inside it you'll see pins the harness plugs into.

The void area is for your blinker as stated by peydidy, i have the same design headlight but the eagle eye brand. the metal plate is the for the projector cut off, all projectors have this plate to make a cutoff. you can actually change out the plate to change the cutoff and change the color of the cutoff. depo and eagle eye dont have that good of a cutoff compared to the OEM ones, thats why many retrofit different projectors in them like TSX, FX-R, S2000, or OEM E55 projectors. Usually the easiest retrofit is the E55 projectors because its a direct fit and doesnt need any real modification. Plus benefit of these projectors is that they're bixenon, which means theres a motor on the projectors that moves the cutoff shields to allow you to use the projectors as high beams as well. So some either wire the motor to the high beams to allow you to use your OEM high beams plus the projectors or some will rewire the harness so only the projector is used for the high beams.

I use Adobe Acrobat for all the captions. Then covert it to jpg.
