What do you think? An updated version with Xenon headlamps maybe. I was thinking of buying one but kindda not sure of the updated version.

IMO, bi-xenon headlights will remain an option on the coupes for quite a while longer. MBUSA wishes to keep the base price low.

I would agree with this. Until all the competition in this market segmet has bi-xenon they have no reason to add it as standard equipment.

How about an "updated" version with the original 2.3 liter engine? *crosses fingers* :p

The 2004 C-Coupes seem to have the '03 sports package standard.

My batteries last longer in Fla than they ever did in SW PA. So I don't buy that heat theory.

I think you are in the wrong thread.

Well, it's not really a sports package. But yes, the C7 wheel package is standard on '04 coupes.

That's kinda a pro and cons situation though. I like to have the stock 16s cuz I know I'd throw it right away and get something nice and by having 17s, I kinda feel bad throwing it and change to 18s. I wish they'd just put the 18s AMG on. I saw one with the monoblock AMG on my dealer and it looks awesome.

I have to agree.

I like the styling of the current C-Class. I hope they don't change it too much. Clear lights would be nice though.

There are several cons, but hopefully people won't think about them since they don't really have a choice in what wheels they get. Previously, when people decided between C7 and no C7, they thought about ride comfort, winter traction, and some people just liked the looks of the 16" better (Crazy, I know). But now, with no choice, it probably won't be an issue.

guess that makes sense but I still hope that C7 is still an option since the C7 wheels are not too crazily beautiful like the Bimmer's large wheels. I wonder if the base price will rise as C7 is standard.

I have not seen one yet but I understand that C7 equipped cars for Canada are getting the Michelin Pilor all season tires so that we don't get stuck in the snow.
