Official German stats for the w203
Its helpful that I read German 
I came across this site,

You can enter your model and it will give you the original manufacturer stats. Sorry but I didn't find an English one.
I was having trouble finding the official 0-100km/h stats from the Australia websites as they were wrong.
I am annoyed that MB Australia dont allow you to access this on their website, I get 'access denied'

The German site says;
6-Gang-Schaltgetriebe (gears)
but my C200 only has 5.
I am German but only lived there as a child so dont really know much about the way they see things when it comes to cars. Maybe the Germans count Neutral or Reverse is a gear?

W203 slightly modified
I thought it was the treaty signed after WW2 which determined that Germany must sell to USA with a subsidy.
