The Friday I'm picking up a 2006 c230, 90k miles, hk system, black/blue metallic, and all black interior. I'm stoked and love the car. Before you say what I think you're gonna say... Yes I'm 17, no my parents did not Pay for it. I have been working and recently got a raise. I worked out a deal with my boss (they're like my second family) that I would give 6k straight Up and pay off the rest. ( it's her daughters car). I'd like to know what I should regularly do maintaining it wise. Yes I know how expensive it is haha true me I've heard it too many times. I won't be doing mods except for dropping it 1-2 inches and getting spacers to have it flush. And the aux mod. I also have a 72 Chevelle with a 454 if any of you are into muscle cars. Im excited to be apart of this forum and hope to contribute as much as I can.
Thanks

Maintenance isn't actually that bad. But we wouldn't have known how old you are. Also I don't consider an 06 230 to be a bad first car. These are cheap cars now regardless of how nice they look.

Follow the factory recommended maintenance to the letter and you should get a nice service life out of the car.

2005 C230K Sedan
Yeah, maintenance isn't bad. I'm at 190k miles on my '05 C230K Sedan, and I've never had any issues. The whole car is pretty damn reliable . Or it has been in my case (I had a friend who called hers a 'lemon', but honestly I think it was more driver error than the car's fault, lol!).

Treat her well and keep her serviced, and she'll run for as long as you want her

My 05 C230 sedan was my first car and so far its been great. It hasn't really cost me much too. Basically you have a yearly oil change or 13K which ever comes first, a brake flush every 2 years, transmission flush every 39K (someone correct me if I am wrong on that one). Also I would recommend changing your spark plugs if it hasn't been done so yet. Theres more maintenance stuff too you need to check up on, those were just the general main ones. If you DIY most things repairs wont cost TOO much for the most part but dealer repairs can really hurt you. Just take car of the car and don't do things like donuts (it can kill your power steering pump) and you'll be golden. As for dropping goes do you plan on using coil overs or springs?
Also Welcome to the forum!

W203 is a nice car, have one years ago, free of trouble... just one problem that I recall door actuator (common problem) easy to fix if you are good with tools or DIY
