IS this the next C-Class????
No, it won't look like that. It's too early for a new model to be testing on the street yet. And that's a bit too radical for the facelift that we might get in early 2004. To me, it looks like a photoshop of an S-class based on the side windows and the way the doors meet the roof.

No way that is a photoshop'd "S". Look how big the driver is comparewd to the size of the car. I think it looks awesome! Especially the rear!

Ed, I believe you are right. The first pic is a cleaned up version of the disguised C55 on mbspy. I doubt that the oval headlights are going away. MB has said they are committed to them. Also look at the two colors of tape disguising the headlights, grille and bumper of the C55. Those headlights are oval shaped.
The headlights in the pic from the spy pic link appear to be the bi-xenon headlights as found in current models. It looks like the grill is changing - possibly a star in the center? Why else would they tape up the center part of the grill?
Doesn't the C55 come out next year? It will look exactly like this year's C32, maybe a slightly different front bumper treatment will be in place. I also think that the front grill probably won't have a star, as this has mostly been used by MB on their coupes. It's just taped up to "disguise" the car.
Boy, good thing they put tape over the AMG logos on the wheels, I never would have guessed what they were.
