What width can I get to have no rub in the front?

You will be rubbing like hell no matter what size you put. Roll the fenders and you will have a chance.

What car are you putting it on? From my understanding 20's won't fit without some heavy modifications.

Maybe it will work if you can find a lift kit like they use on pickup trucks.

20" Carlsson 1/16s... looks good but I'm not sure it's worth the trouble.

c230 Coupe
Those 20"s on a c class is just too big- it is out of proportion. Theyre only gonna work on the bigger benzes like an S or CL. I'd say 19" will give you the big boy look without it being out of proportion. Plus you can actually drive the thing.
