02 c230k coupe
02 c230 diminished value
Hey guys! Long time no see, I haven't been on these forums in about a year.
Two weeks ago, on a rainy day some lady decided to hydroplane her car on the highway and ended up hitting me on my left fender forcing my car to skid on the highway and hit a wall barrier on the right side.
I took my car to the mercedes body shop and they fixed everything for $5,244.
They had to use recycled parts so I was not too happy about that. (Front suspension, and fender)
Well, now I was wondering what would you guys think I should get for the diminished value for the 02 c230 6MT that only just hit 100k miles.
Also, it saddens me to tell you guys that I have purchased an 2013 Acura ILX 6MT this saturday so my mercedes driving days are about done. At least for now Maybe an AMG in the future if anything.

I personally think they should have considered it a total loss if they put over 5k into it.
You would get anywhere between 5-6k. 7 tops.

I am extremely surprised they didn't consider it a total loss at 5k+ in repairs. Usually when the repair is 70% of the cars fair market value it is considered a total lost. I bought my 2002 coupe with 93k on it for $5200 which is the cost of your repair. If you don't mind me asking what insurance company was this all threw?
