Hypothetically, what if the Command were to malfunction in the future, would a dealer agree to repair it? Or would the dealer refuse to even look at it because it was not originally installed at the factory?

No such luck on the adjacent cross streets, which is a really big flaw. Out of all the Nav systems I've used, this one is unfortunately the least detailed.

Somhow mercedes or Bosch ordered the software for comand with the box for names for waters checked and the names for streets unchecked...
Whenever you hit water with your car, you can name that water...streets however, are not listed (which is in the software on the disc)...
Problems with the US spec comands might be taken care off by the dealer...in fact the 203 US comands I sell come with a MB warranty till february 2004 and warranty should be covered by any MB dealership (these units come directly from MB Stuttgart).

I want to replace the 4 pieces of patterned aluminum on my 2003 C 230 Coupe center console with wood. At this point I don't care what kind of wood, Calyptus or Laurel or brown popular, but I would like to get a W230 steering wheel to match. Can you quote me a price for the wood?
Is there anyway of finding out if my coupe has the 3 pin connector for the MF part in the airbag without taking the steering wheel off ?

Due to a minor 3 received deposits and a planned departure date scheduled in approx 2 weeks, I will most probably skip the eastcoast plans completely...I cannot order my plane ticket for just 3 comand installs and cannot ship parts when I don't know what I will be needing.
I did receive enough comand install requests but without firm confirmations I don't want to risk sitting in the states for 2 weeks with nothing on my hands to do...
