OIL dumping in my intake
So I was cleaning out my EGR valves in my 04 C240 and decided to go ahead and clean up the MAF sensor as well. I pulled the MAF and the housing that attaches to it and noticed some oil being dumped into the bottom of the housing via a hose that seems to connect to the top of the driver side valve cover. Is this normal?

That's breather hose. It's normal to see some oil coming from breather hose.
If the valve covers are leaking, while replacing the valve cover, you can clean the port where the breather hose attaches to valve cover.
