C-Spot Drive party revamped...
I just came back from the C-Spot drive party and it seems to be re-vamped.
I remember reading that most, if not all, the cars did not have the sport package. At the session today most had the C7 package.
The line-up included:
C230 Coupe - C7
C320 Coupe - No C7
C230 Sedan - C7 Stock
C240 Sedan - No C7
C320 Sedan - C7
There was only 1 C320 Coupe, and only 2 C240s so most of the cars had the C7 rims. On the 4matic course, they were all stock, but thats the point. I guess they listened to comments and re-vamped it to feature more "Sport" models.
I spoke to a few people about the modified coupe. The list of the cars mods state 'carbon fiber hood'. After touching it I knew it wasn't so I asked. Supposedly the car was designed with a CF hood, but it broke during transport so they went back to the OEM hood. They had no contact with the aftermaket companies, but they said MB is in discussion to release aftermarket parts. Not sure how true this is, but it would be nice.
All said and done, it was very nice. The food was unusual, the selection of drinks was nice. The AMG ride was fun, and the M lost to the AMG in the 0-100-0...The gift bag at the end with the hat and golf ***** was very nice as well.

Funny...one of the sales monkeys at Raceway Park told me there was no AMG spoiler for the Coupe...then I showed him mine. Another told me the panorama roof was exclusive to the coupe...(where do they find these people?)
