Anyone in the SF bay area know how to install coilovers?
Hey everyone, I wanted to do a suspension swap with my 2002 C230 coupe and my 2006 CLK500. The clk is on stock suspension and the C230 has coil overs on currently. I wanted to swap the suspension on the two so the coupe has the CLKs stock suspension and the CLK have the coil overs. I usually try to do most of my car work myself but I have never really worked on a cars suspension and don't want to mess anything up. I wanted to see if anyone on here who knows about how to install coil overs and lives in SF bay area could help me with this(I will pay you and help you do it also)
Or if anyone knows of a good shop in the SF bay area who could do this swap for me without charging an arm and leg for it.
Thanks in advanced

I had my CO's installed by Carlabs, which is now Sonic Motorsports and I think they are in Mnt. Vw.
Not sure what they charge these days, but the nice thing was they seemed to have a good feel for the height. Like I requested it to be right at the edge of the fender, but not tucked and they got it right. I had a free adjustment after the rear settled, new CO's. and they had to raise it a little.
Somehow I doubt anyone who was there back then is still there, the guy's name was Darwin.

It's an easy job if you have all the tools.
Enough jacks/stands / torque bar / socket wrenches with the right sizes
Look up the DIYs posted
I did mine the first time when I got pss9s with near no tools, took 8-12 hours cuz I didn't have the top hat removal tool. The next time it took 3 hours
Don't worry, just follow the pictures. You won't break anything
But it seems like you're swapping part for part, meaning no swapping of top hats.
Job literally will take 2-4 hours max
There aren't that many bolts
I'll help if no one else does. But I won't be free for a while

I drive a Toyota Hybrid...
not worth it... the coilover on the coupe already has lot of miles and i wasn't sure if the rear coilover are bent or normal... and especially the weight of a V8 on the CLK vs a 4 banger on the C230.. don't do it
