Cant get 2001 c320 into dyno mode

2001 C320 Automatic
Put the key to ignition 1
Pressed page down on the arrow key
Right after that held the trip reset heard the beep
Pressed down arrow again
It just runs the normal engine oil level check

That is NOT the procedure to get into dyno mode,... search for it
Steps missing are:
Navigate to mileage,... push reset 3 times

Good,.... now you`re in dyno mode,...
Turn the key to position 2 (but do NOT turn the car on) and the oil level will be displayed.

since i had that problem earlier this month with my mechanic, putting a lil tranny fluid in the engine we had to add an additive to make sure the oil would seperate from the tranny fluid. so thats the extra .4 quarts. going to go drain a little bit now.
