Loud clicking from behind the dash?!

Loud clicking from behind the dash?!
Lately its been getting colder down in Charlotte and when I start my car I hear a LOUD clicking noise from behind the dash. It sounds like its coming from the passenger side but closer to the command unit. My car is garage kept at night and it goes away after I've been driving 5 minutes or so. I just got back from traveling so the car hadn't been started in about 5 days. It was covered and in the garage. Any ideas what this could be?

My C32 had a clicking sound that just appeared one day at about center way of the dash, took it to the dealer and they it was a $20 plastic lever, and a weak blender motor $40, labor $1,700 
. To make a long story short I knew the sevice tech at the MB dealer, and he did it for $600 labor on the side. The whole dash board, steering colume, and center console had to come out. I hope this isn't your case but just giving you a warning. Oh, and if you have to go through what I did have them replace all the motors in there I think its a total of four, this isn't something you want to go through twice. Good luck
