Hi all,
I contacted a third party online with my issue as follows:
My 2003 C240 wagon transmission started slipping last night, then when placed in drive, acted like it was still in neutral. When I shut the car off for 5 minutes, it would go back into gear, but when slowing or stopping on an upward incline, back to neutral. Check engine light is on. 5 minutes off, allows it to go back into gear
There are four error codes displaying now.
1-P2502
2-P220A
3-P2500
4-P2221
The guy that I contacted has a strong opinion that the wiring harness has been contaminated, and the seal is bad, but my mechanic did not observe that issue.
"As I mentioned on the 5th, I'm still strongly suspecting a common problem with the main electrical connector."

buy a transmission dipstick to check the level or your the mechanic check
when was the last transmission drain and refill? n replaced AT plug adapter?
if past 40k miles then your transmission was most likely leaking from plug adapter and destroyed the trans computer

Sammydragon: My mechanic did flush the system and replace the filter. Is there a way to check the transmission module?
Contact148: I will have him check the radiator brand; I had heard of this issue from a co-worker. He did say that the tranny fluid looked fine. Which would be easier to detect?...tranny fluid in the coolant or vice versa?
