2005 C230 Quad exhaust help
What's up guys...I've been looking to replace my Remus exhaust with a quad exhaust system. When I originally had my exhaust put on at Platinum Motorsports in LA, they refused to put a dual exhaust on the car because they said it would be impossible. Well, that was in 2005, and I know for a fact that is IS possible to do this. That's beside the point, but I was trying to find a good shop in Los Angeles that is familiar with making this happen. Also, any suggestions on parts would be great too. This car is now my second car, but I take great pride in it. It has plenty of mods, I'm just tired of the exhaust I currently have and I'm a sucker for dual exhausts on a Benz. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

There really isn't a dual exhaust in the classical sense. The C55 has what looks like a dual system, but it is a single pipe from engine compartment to the rear of the car. At the back there is a pipe that runs from left to right to expose the right tips.
The C55 has a retrofit kit in the WIS. It changes the diameter of the long pipe and has body parts that change the spare tire well to allow the left to right pipe some space.
