Tranny problems
My 07 c230 with AT occasionally will stick in gear. For example I'll be driving down the road and stop and a stop sign, when I go to take off its stuck in 7th gear and won't let me override manually. I have to stop and turn the car off then back on and then it's fine for a while. Car has 80k miles and no CEL. Anyone had this issue or got any suggestions? Seems electrical since it resets when the car is turned off.

You really need to read the stored codes on this car. You need a device capable of reading Mercedes transmission codes like a Star or Snap-on Solus etc. Likely causes are speed sensor, conductor plate or a sticking solenoid (or broken solenoid spring). All on the valve body.
