Reset Service Indicator
I change my own oil, filters and other A and B service items but I am unable to reset the service indicator. I followed the instructions but it will not reset. Any ideas or pointers? (2006 C230 Sport)

At the very top of the site there's links click on the wiki link and just go to our models. It'll have lots of diy and info for our cars. Also of you scroll to the first couple of threads on the forum you'll see an aftermarket/diy thread with the reset instructions

Service Reset
Thanks again. I followed the instructions this morning but when I get to set 3,
(Press cluster illumination button (1) 3 times in short succession. The battery voltage will be displayed and an audible signal will sound) I don't get the battery voltage message. Nothing happens.

Turn the key to On position
Go to the mileage display then scroll through using your steering wheel controls until the service and wrench appear on the cluster.
Press and hold the trip button and then it will ask you if you are sure you want to?
Press the reset button again.
Woi-la you are done.
