master cylinder functions...
In my M3 the master cylinder was a true master cylinder in that the fluid was used for brakes and clutch. Is this the case with the W203?
And a related question... for the past week I've been riding my bike to work yesterday when I got back in the car, clutch was super soft, it engaged about 1" off the floor rather than 5-6" like it usually does. After driving about 20 miles it's better, but still about 60% of what it was.
I'd hate to put in my brakes and then have the stealer refuse warranty on clutch hydraulics of they're tied together!!!

Perhaps that's what it was. But here's the deal, My problem is that the clutch pedal seems extremely soft. After driving a long period without using it - expressway - it stiffens up and all seems fine. But right now off the get go it's messed up.
That's why I was asking becuase I didn't want to mess with bleeding if it is tied together.
