how do i find out if my 2005 mercedes c230 is fiber optic
i have a 2005 Mercedes c230 sedan it has the CD changer and the phone plug how do i know if my car is fiber optic because i wanna add two kicker sub woofers to it

It is a fiber optic based system. all components are daisy chained/looped wiith fiber optic cables. They are orange in color and have modular looking plugs on the ends. 2005+ model years fiber system is referred to as MOST and pre are called D2B.

Just letting you know you can still put subs in even if it is a fiberoptic system. You just need a different kind of converter, My CLK500 has the H/K audio which is fiberoptic but the shop I had my subs installed at had no problem
