Bluetooth part numbers for w203 2001 - 2004.5

Hey guys--

Here are the part numbers I used to install the mb factory bluetooth into my 2001 c320. It should be the same part numbers for all w203 up to the interior re-design which I believe is 2004.5

Again-- These are all the part numbers I used in my car so I can confirm with you all that they will work.

This system works with my sprint IPHONE 5...

Parts you will ABSOLUTELY need --
1. Bluetooth module --- B67875856
2. Cradle eliminator cord --- Q6820976 ($75 + shipping for Parts.com)
===connects BT module to the phone jack in center arm rest
3. PSE --- Q6820971
4. PSE Cable --- Q6820468

Optional Parts if you want voice control over your phone, cd, etc
5. Voice control Module --- 203-820-0885
6. PTT lever --- Q682-0551 *****
===control lever that activates the voice control - attaches at steering column opposite the crusie control
***** (I am trying to locate this part for myself)

The only part that was still available for me to order from the dealer was the cradle eliminator cord. All other parts are discontinued.

I paid approximately $900 for a kit (parts 1,3,4,5, and 6 S class lever) that came with new and used parts with a warranty. It also came with install instructions that can be found here on this site with some searching. Also included phone install tech support if I needed it.

I have since searched all items on EBAY and came up with a price (1,3,4,5) of around $500 for all used parts with no warranty.

I previously had the argos system in but it crapped out on me so my installation was straight forword. I just replaced the argos system with the PSE and the PSE cord. Then i plugged in the Voice control module and connected it into the fiber optic loop. Total install time was approximately 30 minutes.

If you have any questions-- feel free to ask.

Charles

Cradle eliminator cable Q6820976

Thanks so much for sharing this here. I wonder if you can take a close up picture of the RJ45 that connects to the car, I happen to have an old motorola v60 data cable and I'm planning to replace the USB end with an RJ45 but I need the wires positions.
Normally for computers they have a standard position (see graphic) but for this cable they're different.

Thanks in advance

depends

allan,

it's probably a straight through rj45. even with computers, this is simply the industry standard. as long as both rj45's are in the same order, it will work. TIA's 568 standards are more to help keep standardization within the industry.

have either of yall looked at the dynavin dvn-mc2000?

http://www.dynavinstore.com/shop/mer...9-android.html

i'm considering the android version simply because i have an android phone, which should make tethering much easier, but i'm considering replacing the cd changer/oem tape deck with this since it fits perfectly, and modernizes the vehicle, at a "minimal" cost.
