c230 supercharger not boosting! list of OBD codes
Hey guys, i have a 2005 c230k with almost 100k miles on it. Car was lagging to accelerate so I replaced my cat converter, still no help (only with the white smoke)
so i took it to a friend and he pulled a list of codes for me. apparently my car isnt boosting from the supercharger, so its running like a lil 1.8L normally aspirated vehicle (sloooooow)
here they a
P0600 = Serial communication link malfunction
P0238 = Turbocharger boost sensor A circuit high
P0172 = System too rich (Bank 1)
P0730 = Incorrect gear ratio (Im assuming the gears miss cause no boost)
P0237 = Turbocharger boost sensor A circuit Low
any advice is greatly appreciated! my last mechanic screwed me pretty bad, im just takin it to the dealership this time! hopefully its a quick fix but lets see

Wow,... your mechanic must have got you big time in order for you to go back to Mercedes-Benz Stealership. Isn't there a MB Indy around?
Did you check all the simple stuff,... like check for leaks in vacuum hose and air hoses around supercharger, change air filter, clean MAF sensor, clean ThrottleBody,... make sure all the wiring around there is good with clean plugs,...

How is your C230 running? I have the same car and same milage but just one code right now: P0600. Sorry to hear your having such trouble because its a sweet ride. Mine is also showing the following messages even though the 3 lamps referenced are functioning.
Message 1: FR. R. PARK LAMP
CHECK LIGHT
Message 2: TAIL LIGHT, R
CHECK LIGHT
Message 3:TAIL LIGHT, R
BACK-UP LIGHT ON

Update: The larger of the 2 wiring harness connectors on top of the SAM was laced with motor oil. I took apart connector and cleaned with cotton and compressed air. Cleaned pins with cotton swabs. Re-taped and zip tied as was. False messages gone. Will get into the other end and see if I can buy the failed seal instead of the whole harness. I hope this helps. What led me to this was that I noticed all 3 componants involved in the false messages were listed on the fuse legend as 'electronic' not fused.
