Spacers on 17'' ss wheels

Hello!! I have in mind to put some spacers to my coupe with 17'' se wheels but I am not sure of how many should I buy for the rear and the front. I am not sure if the perfect fit is 5mm or 10mm. I have also in mind lowering the car with H&R springs so I don't want rubbering problems. Can some tell me which spacers will be perfect for this configuration?

Thankss

I'd suggest lambskin, then.

My guess on spacers would be 5mm front, 10mm rear. Get a set of 5mms, then double them up to verify. You could always sell them here very easily on here.

12mm H&R on rear worked beautifully for me, perfect width. Also tried 12mm on the front but couldn't get rid of steering wheel vibration at speed, so I removed them.

So the best configuration is 5mm front and 1.2mm rear? No rubering problems with H&R spring?

Not sure about H&R springs but with the stock sport springs the 12mm rear was perfect. Like I said, any width spacer in the front may cause steering vibration at speed but I've read that this can be fixed with aluminum tape around the hub.

I actually just got some new wheels so I don't need my 12mm spacers anymore. I'll give them to you plus extended lug bolts for $50 shipped. They are hubcentric H&R Trak+ and only fit the rear.
