Trunk Lock Issue
I had replaced my trunk lock actuator about 2 years ago because the original one had gear issues. It worked fine until yesterday!!! Now the trunk does not release with keyfob or button on door. Only using the manual key. I don't want to buy another trunk lock for $100 without being sure it is the problem. The new unit has the 4 wire connector. I know pin 1 is not used, pin 2&3 are getting 12V with my meter. I opened the lock removed the motor and connected it to a AA batt and the motor spun. I want to test the lock but don't know how pins 2-4 work. Can someone give me some suggestions?
FYI - fuse is fine as the trunk light is on, trunk release button is on when trunk is open. The emergency button in trunk also blinks. I don't hear the motor spin at all.
