Actually...not really. The "normal" folk-90% of the earth(non MBworlders,E46 fanatics etc.)think I've downgraded because they are not chrome. So there are only a few people that actually appreciate the current look. I personally like them...but I feel they are missing that eye catching "look"...I dunno. I just want my car too stand out at car shows I guess.

My wheel shop sends it back to get refinished from the company and sends it to one of their shops to get chromed/polished. My wheels will be visiting both.

Agreed...also rechroming is a ***** (i.e. turnaround time isn't fast), especially when you only have one that needs re-chroming. You are stuck rolling with a car with mismatched rims for a couple of weeks, unless you go back to stock for that time period.

I've been through it...never chrome again.
