Power loss on 2002 c230 coupe automatic
Hi all, please offer any insights:
I have a 2002 c230 coupe automatic, the 1.8 engine, not the 2.3.
Since having it serviced about 3000 miles ago the car seems at least 20% down on power, the fuel consumption has also been similarly effected. The best mpg i can get being very very careful is 12.5 litres per 100kms (half highway, half city) {18mpg}
The garage that serviced it put in slightly too much oil and the computer threw a warning code of "too much oil" but it went away after 2weeks. The one cam sensor solenoid has always been a bit oily, i try clean it when i remember.
The car is not stalling,stuttering or misfiring but its just not the same car. I have to give it a firmer prod on the gas pedal to make it shift down a gear.
Any ideas of what it could be? I would like some ideas before i take it in to be looked at. Hate when you get quoted for a fix and it comes back exactly the same. Please help

Can you tell us exactly what they did at the service & is on your invoice? Do you know if oil has got into the engine harness from the leaking cam magnet? Is there any sign of oil from the harness at the upstream O2 sensor? Is the car storing any codes?
It is evident that your air/fuel ratio is out & I'm trying to work out why.
