Those look like sedan headlights, so they won't work on your coupe (if they don't say coupe, assume they're sedan lights).

I don't think that anyone makes aftermarket coupey headlights, sadly.

thanks tommy, I will check that and make sure......depo is the only company that makes after market but man they are like $450 on ebay........I mean workman/material wise sedan and copue are almost identical, btu I dont understand why a sedan is like $200 for a pair where as for a coupe it is ~$450...
You can always install your own 55W kit in the $200 headlight, yea I know it will not be OEM quality and blah blah blah....but who wants to pay $1200 for a pair of headlight that is just insane crazy....

What is if the above headlights are for a coupe is it a good bargain......I know peydidy bought a depo setup but close to $500 a pair that is expensive for me....

I stand corrected.
I'd still prefer the OEM clears, but not all of us 2002 owners were lucky enough to grab a pair of them as soon as they were for sale.

A203-820-57-61 Left Driver side BiXenon for CL203 - Right Hand Drive
A203-820-58-61 Right Driver side BiXenon for CL203 - Right Hand Drive

BTW,... the really sad part is,... I got these part number memorized!

OEM for Coupe BiX is Hella,... current online prices seems to be about $800 each,.... but I know where to get them for about $685 each. I doubt we'll ever see that $1000 pair group buy a few years ago.

After buying the depo projectors do you need to buy a HID ballast separately for it or is it built in? Previously I remember it saying it came with it but I don't see it written there now

sunny...

please share where to get them for ".... but I know where to get them for about $685 each."

Cause I found a seller who will sell me one OEM brand new for $175 but still $860 for a pair it is steep.....the car itself is not worth that much money to be put into it......plus I am wanting to get some rust redmediation work done so would not be worth spending that kind fo money on the headlight.....

If any one is interested look on eBay for a listing for a driver side headlamp for $175 list prices and you can call him directly and he will sell you one for the list prices, he has juts picked up a lot of 30 driver side coupe headlights and is trying to liquidate them... and yes they are hellas with the ballast and all, hell it is worth the money juts for the oem ballasts.....and yes they are brand spanking new....

search under w203 headlight and it should be down the list on the first pages itself....

If we're talking about the same ebay listing,...that $175 is just the current bid on ebay,... the BuyItNow price is $425. But even at $425 that's a good deal. We all know the crazy list price at Mercedes-Benz Stealership of $1700 for one; which make the current online price of about $800 for the Hella OEM seem like a steal.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Hella-Merced...item56524c5c2c
http://www.ptcfactoryoutlet.com/index.html

Even though its listed as "Hella Mercedes Benz C Class W203 Xenon Headlamp 01-03",.. implying for Sedan,... that Hella part number H11984031 is for 2001-07 coupe!

Hella# H11984031 MB# A203-820-57-61 Left Driver side BiXenon for CL203 - Left Hand Drive

Hella# H11984021 MB# A203-820-58-61 Right Driver side BiXenon for CL203 - Left Hand Drive

Interestingly,... that ebay seller only sell Hella items and is named PTC Factory outlet (ptcfactoryoutlet) of PeachTreeCity, Georgia, USA,.... hmmmm,.... the same PeachTreeCity where Hella USA has its American office and distribution centre,.... hmmmm,...
http://www.hella.com/produktion/Hell...la_Inc_USA.jsp

PTC Factory outlet seems to be the factory outlet for Hella USA.

Our CL203 coupe ran from 2001-07 internationally,... and since Mercedes-Benz supplies the parts for 15 years after model end (10 year is required by law),... you're not likely to see parts clear-out clearance until towards the end of the 15 years, unless there's a huge inventory! Thus, these Bix at PTC Factory Outlet are likely refurbished customer returns due to cosmetic damages like scratches.

Somebody should buy this,... I'd like to see if its the same one I returned to AutohausAZ,.... it had a small S-shaped scratch on top of the BIX chrome projector housing. AutohausAZ.com was great, full refund and they also covered the cost of shipping it back!

The place where I finally got mine was on ebay,.... ebay seller: eurocars9101,.... they have a brick & mortor warehouse called All European Auto Supply near Detroit, Michigan. Very good prices. Currently they don't have any BiX for CL203 listed on ebay,... they were $684.95 each ($721 - 5% discount sale). They currently have BIX for CL, CLK, CLS, E, SLK, S listed on ebay.
They have the CL203 BIX listed on their website for $801 for left and $768 for right.
http://www.ebay.com/sch/m.html?_odkw...at=0&_from=R40
http://alleuro.com/
Contact them and ask for Mark (ebay guy) and tell him, Raymond from Toronto (SunnyRayToronto) sent you and I'm sure he'll give you the same price I got,... $684.95 each.

thank you sunny, appreciate your help and input. To get the $175 you have call the contact number and speak to the guys there and the person that I spoke to agreed to give it to me for $175 since he was trying to to sell the 30 drivere side units that he has. Will keep you posted on the progress.

Javvy,.... at $175 for each driver side Hella OEM BiX,.... the question you should be asking yourself is "How many am I gonna buy?" Seriously,... you should get at least 2 driver side. You should expect them to have minor scratches or blemishes or damaged boxes,... the better one would be the keeper for your car.

The other one would be kept for spare parts,.... because you know that Ballast will eventually die in a few years and the replacement cost is about $200 for a half dead used ballast on ebay. The OEM Hella CL203 Bix should come with osram xenarc 66040 (D2S 4300K - Made in Germany) bulb.

Then the question becomes,... where to get the Passenger side CL203 BIX?
-1- Wait for the same ebay seller (PTCFactoryOutlet) to eventually list them too,.... there's no reason for Driver side BIX to have a higher rate of manufacture scratch/blemishes, poorer workmanship assembly, customer return rates, etc,... than the Passenger side BIX. Usually manufacturers wait until they accumulate large number of the items then clear them all out to the factory outlet store. See if the guy at PTC Factory outlet would have an idea of when the Passenger side would come in.
-2- contact Mark (ebay: eurocars9101) of All European Auto Supply near Detroit, Michigan and buy the Passenger side CL203 BiX for $684.95
-3- Find a used Passenger side CL203 BiX on ebay or kijiji or craiglist or here,... usually about $300-350 for used and working. If you could find a non-working passenger side BiX that's around $200-250 that's even better,.... you just swamp the inners (ballast, ignitor, bulbs) with the inners from your spare Driver side Bix!

NOTE: This is another reason to get two Driver side BiX at $175 each,.... you'll have 2 Xenon bulbs (Osram Xenarc 66040) that are the basically the same age. BiX bulbs should always be replaced in pairs,... because as they age, they change colour slightly but noticeably. How often have you seen idiots driving on the road with Xenon,... one headlight is more blue-ish or yellow-ish than the other one? It could be two different bulbs,.. or bulbs at different age.

Currenty most online stores, like RMEuropean.com & AutoHausAZ.com, who used to keep these CL203 BiX headlights in-stock no longer have them in-stock,... they don't anticipate selling a large number of them anymore to justify storing them. So now, they only sell them as "special order",... you order through them and then they'll have Hella in PeachTreeCity, Georgia ship them out to you.

When buying these Hella OEM CL203 BiX, Hella ship them out in 2 different type of boxes,... one is standard, the other is really cool,... its a larger box with suspension packaging,... so the BiX headlight is sandwiched in the middle between two cellophane-plastic sheet,... like it's suspended in mid-air! Hey man,.. that's the way these BiX roll!
12" x 19" x 20.5" Standard box with foam in plastic bag padding
16" x 19" x 28" Suspension packaging
http://www.testvalleypkg.co.uk/suspension.html

BTW,... don't even bother with DEPO,... so many members here have gotten DEPO and then replaced them with OEM BiX (Hella for coupe and Bosch for sedan).

hey sunny good idea on buying another one from this guy, well this is what I bought....the driver side for $175 and I found a very nice Passenger side used on ebay placed an offer for $200 and the seller took the offer so now I have an OEM setup on its way for $398.50 including shipping and all.......isn't that a super deal and both are OEM hellas.....woooowoowowowow......thanks for all the help and stuff....now I like your idea of buying another spare from this guy just for that freaking ballast....I will do that asap....

Cheers....

Congrats Javvy! The Hella/Bosch OEM BiX are definitely the best mod/upgrade for our CL203/W203 Especially for the pre-facelift with foggy headlights which are now foggy and yellow-ish!

Remember to post photos when they arrive.

On the box you will find a Hella sticker with Hella part# H11984031 for the Driver side BiX,... but on the BiX itself, the Hella sticker on top of the highbeam part of the housing will have Hella part# "1DL 007 984-27" Just thought I'd mention it so you don't freak out when they arrive. Likewise the Passenger side should have Hella sticker with Hella part# "1DL 007 984-28" if they are Hella OEM,... or if Mercedes re-branded then A203-820-58-61 or possibly A203-820-46-59 (newer part#)

MB# A203-820-57-61 (superceded by A203-820-45-59) Left Driver side BiXenon for CL203 - Left Hand Drive
Hella# H11984031 on box "1DL 007 984-27" on BiX

MB# A203-820-58-61 (superceded by A203-820-46-59) Right Driver side BiXenon for CL203 - Left Hand Drive
Hella# H11984021 on box "1DL 007 984-28" on BiX

Before I pulled the trigger a couple of months ago, I've been looking for Hella OEM BiX since I got my coupe in Spring 2009. And generally, the used pair that I've examined where asking about $900 for used! One set were from UK so it was right hand drive pattern,.... another set was pitted and had parking lot scratch and dead bulb,.... another had at least one dead ballast and was retrofitted with aftermarket ballast/ignitor & bulbs. Then there were other sets that were too far away to examine,... one set was blacked out reflector meaning they had to reseal the lens,.. and another had the usual pitting and oxidation. I figure with those asking prices, it was better just to buy new and not have to worry about replacing a ballast & bulb that could go anytime,...

BTW, if you decide to get rid of that egg-yoke (yellow colour of the turn signal bulb) on the BiX in favour of a more uniform chrome look (very slight blue hue if you really stare!),.... You should get the Sylvania (Osram) SilverStar 2057ST or 1157ST,... cost about $10 for a pair at PepBoys & AutoZone. The 2057ST is designed to and should last longer than the 1157ST.

Mine should be here today (could have even been here yesterday, I was too busy to check). I talked to both PTC and Hella, and yep, these guys get the overstock and return/refurb items from Hella by the pallet, so they never really know what they are getting. If you have any plans to get Factory BiX, this is something you should go ahead and squirrel away!!

Unfortunately they don't have any of the passenger side lights, and have no way of knowing or predicting when they will have any come in. But this price point will still significantly reduce the total cost, even if you have to buy a passenger side for $800.

Clear Foglight part numbers - Mercedes & Hella

Just figured I'd answer PM from MW_ATL here,... so if anyone else is thinking the same thing or someone else doing a search in the future,....

Thanks!

These are the Mercedes & Hella (OEM) part numbers for Bi-Xenon:

MB# A203-820-57-61 (superceded by A203-820-45-59) Left Driver side BiXenon for CL203 - Left Hand Drive
Hella# H11984031 on box "1DL 007 984-27" on BiX housing

Yes,.... Hella is also the OEM for our Foglights,... including the newer clear foglights. These are the Mercedes & Hella (OEM) part numbers for Clear Foglights:

MB# A203-820-11-56 Left Driver side Clear Foglight for C-class CL203/W203 - Left Hand Drive
Hella# H12976031 on box "1NA 007 976-11" on Foglight housing

All European Auto Supply (Royal Oak, MI) has Left for $84.73 and Right for $90.97 PLUS shipping,... ask for Mark (ebay guy)
http://alleuro.com/mercedesparts.php

AutohausAZ.com has them for $111.96 each with shipping INCLUDED. rmeuropean.com has them for $114.22 / 116.02 each but I'm not sure if that includes shipping.

Great! Thanks so much! And here we get it at least searchable.

Just for Clarity, the fog light part numbers above are for the 2002-2004 (and later non-amg -- I assume) bumper. From the DIY section:

2002-2004 clear fogs available (ideal) - direct swap with old lights
203-820-11-56 L fog light
203-820-12-56 R fog light

2005-2007 clear fogs (for 2002-2004 - you need to transplant the lenses and internals from the "new" lights into your original casings)
203-820-17-56 L fog light
203-820-18-56 R fog light
