Powder coating gun metal finished rims
Does anyone know how powder coating gunmetal finished rims would come out?
I really like these rims and they are way affordable. I would rather have them in hyper gray/silver but the seller said they are not available in that finish. I am wondering how they would
look or come out if I had them custom powder coated.

That's a good idea. I might keep them stock actually as they may look flashy to the next buyer or dealer, as I am getting a W211 E55 in 2 years and I have decided not too dump too much cash into this ride after all. Maybe some springs, and some grey wheels, and audio and this ride is sorted. I am better off saving my cash for an OG W202 AMG 36 that I badly want.

Before you powder coat, please understand the powder is cured by heat and such heat can alter the strengh of aluminum. http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/w...pros-cons.html
