W203/CL203 Aftermarket Wheel Thread - All you want to know
if you're looking at 18x8.5 you'll want 5x112, 66.6 hub bore. as for offset you can go from +25-+30 up front depending if you have the sport calipers. If you do I go +25-+28 so it'll clear. As for the rear you can go from +38-+20 depending on how you want the wheels to look. Do you want a flushed look?
Search through the pages and usually the first couple or so pages list the specs most use or you can go back a few pages and many newbies are asking the same question. You can also use the search function.

Why would you go 16? thats too small, I think 17s are also pretty small, I think 18s are the perfect size for our car..even though I have 19s I still wish myn were 18s, cheeper tires, less rubbing, and you can lower more. But 16x9 and 16x10 just doesn't sound reasonable or real to me. Don't go 9.5 in the front that wont work and is going to cause you alot of tassel
You'll be pushing 9" in front and will need A LOT of fender rolling and pulling to get it to look right and not poke out too much plus some negative camber to get it to tuck under the fender or you'll be cutting the tires on bumps. 10' in rear is doable as well but again fender work is a major as well if you plan on lowering it and to get it not to rub. You'll have to do some grinding of the bumper bracket as well plus make sure you get a good offset or the wheel will be hitting the inner fender wheel. in both cases you'll need to stretch the tires a pretty good amount to get them to tuck in the wheel well. Just be prepared to either do a lot of rolling and pulling yourself or paying someone to do it for you.

our coupe resemble the corrado in a way, so i want to achieve this same look. i want the wheel to push out and not be tucked under. That is why i want to go 17 max and not 18 bc i do want to lower the car. i want to avoid rolling the fender and be able to use spacers to achieve this same look.
these guys managed to fit 10.5 in the back and 9.5 in the front. see how the wheels stick out. imagine this same setting with smaller sized wheel like 17" or 16". you will even be able to drop lower.
The more I look at your car, the more I like the carlsson bumpers
