Help Me Diagnose Vibration (2005 w203)
Car is a 2005 C230 Sport Sedan.
I am having a vibration issue that I am hoping you guys can help me diagnose

The vibration is coming from the front right wheel area and is very pronounced. I can feel it throughout the car (in the seat, steering wheel, pedals, etc). Its quite loud and my passengers can feel it too.
• When driving in a straight line and maintaining 120km/h I get a slight vibration.
• When braking hard at any speed I get a strong vibration.
• When turning left at high speed (80km/h or higher on a highway curve like an on-ramp) I get a strong vibration.
• When turning right at high speed (80km/h or higher on a highway curve like an on-ramp) I get NO vibration.
Because I am feeling the vibration even when not applying the brakes, I am skeptical that the cause is due to warped rotors. I took both front wheels off and turned the rotors and listened for rubbing against the pads, and there is only very minimal rubbing. It mostly spins freely.
Any ideas? What can I do to isolate the issue?
Thanks,
Nick.
Who would be best equipped to deal with diagnosing this? Should I take it to the dealer, or to an alignment shop, or an indy?
tire pressure
did u visually inspect the front end parts?
what about the condition of your tires? any noticable worn spots?
any history of repairing the front end?
i wouldnt take it to the dealership for an align...find a mercedes guy who does alignments
Check Firts the Ball Joint of the Control arms, 2 Upper, 2 Lowers, because if that are broken, the new control arms come with Bushings, if they are in good shape, check the control arm bushings and the stability bar bushing.
In the end, the expensive way to fix all these is to change the 4 control arms and the stability bushing, but that is the easiest way to do it, because if u only have to change the bushings of each control arm u will need a special tool to do it and that make all more dificult. Sorry for my english hehe but is not my natural languaje XD
