Mercedes C220 CDI Sport WDB203 2006 Auto
I have owned the above car for 3 months.. it has now developed a problem. The car has 32k on it .. After driving approx 30 minutes and stopping then moving off the car will not move up gear and just revs high . i resolved this yesterday by putting it in neutral then moving off again it was fine ,, this has happened exactly the same in the last 2 days with the same journey.. i took the car to a local transmission specialist who checked trans level which he quoted as slightly low this was topped up .. the car showed no fault codes at all when plugged in and checked.. he felt this may cure the problem.. unfortunately it hasn't ... any ideas this is my first post im Manchester area. cheers.......

If your level was low is likely due to the Trans O ring leaking fluid into the
wiring harness. Some informed reading. It requires replacing the O ring.

If it has wicked it's way to the end of the cable you may have some fluid in the TCU under the right side floor. Eventually the TCU will blow if it's full of oil.
Many threads on this.
Search on trans fluid in TCU etc.

C220 CDI Gear Problem..
Many thanks for the answers and suggestions guys .. its almost a week now since the trans was topped up and the over revving and not moving up gear has dare i say it gone away !! i'm gonna see how it goes on for the moment whilst being mindful of where the previous oil might have gone ..!! Obviously if the problem comes back and oil has dropped then its time to check all your suggestions .. many thanks all of you ..
